After School Activities:

• Movie Night - Each semester we (try to) offer a movie afternoon with a German movie or a well-known animated film in German like The Incredibles or Ratatouille. Students can bring popcorn, snacks, and drinks.

• Pot Luck Dinner & Game Night - Once a year, students select a recipe from a German-speaking country and prepare it. We then all meet at school to enjoy a meal of new foods followed by a game night.

• Kaffee und Kuchen - Germans love to sit and talk about life, current events and cultural experiences while enjoying hot coffee or tea with their favorite desserts, and we emulate this activity with events after school!

• Platzchen Weihnachten - Once a year around Christmas-time, students can bring German cookies that they can either buy or bake themselves, which we will all share in a small party after school!
